Empowering Somali Youth and Adolescents

UNFPA has developed a Framework for Action on Adolescents and Youth that articulates a corporate strategy for working with Governments and partners in promoting the comprehensive development of young people worldwide. In Somalia, UNFPA is fostering young people’s leadership and promoting sexual and reproduc- tive health among youth through trainings. UNFPA is supporting the Somaliland National Y-Peer Network and the Somali Family Services in Puntland.
